Description

The US 41 Widening and Improvements Project expanded the roadway from SR 44 (W Main Street) to south of the Withlacoochee State Trail bridge, increasing capacity from two to four lanes with a divided median, bike lanes, and sidewalks. Upgrades included new and improved traffic signals, enhanced street lighting, and pedestrian safety features at major intersections. A continuous multi-use trail was also installed throughout the project limits, providing improved connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists.
